Foobar itself and all of it\'s functionality works as intended, but once I install a theme/skin it permanantly plants itself on my PC, I cannot move the window and where it is stuck I cannot access all of the features of program. I\'m always into the metro UI and I\'ve made a skin based on the style. I\'ve replaced all the icons including the ones on the main page with the ones designed for Windows 10. One thing that\'s I really missed from all other customized skins is the volume slider, so I\'ve put the volume slider in landscape modes. I also fit in the repeat button and shuffle button.
It\'s the first skin I\'ve ever made, hopefully you guys would enjoy it. Any suggestions for improving it or if anyone is also interested in the light theme, just let me know and I\'ll make that, too. Here are some screenshots: Skin Download Link (Onedrive). This skin is really awesome, exactly what I\'m looking for! I am wondering if you\'d be willing to share your raw skin designer files so that I could make an edit or two for my purposes. I personally do not like album art so I want to remove that and I also like to add a subtle background occasionally, so it would be amazing to have your fantastic framework to start with an make those tweaks myself =)Sure, I\'m glad you like it. I see what you\'re asking is the 1.0 version, but I personally prefer the 2.0 version instead.

The previous solution I wrote about to stopped working. I on the foobar2000 forums but no one knew of a way to get the plugin to work. For whatever reason the folks who run aren’t interested in supporting foobar2000.
A few advantages to this updated solution are that the lyrics aren’t downloaded every time you listen to a song and there is no longer an external window to display the lyrics. Negatives are that you have to update the lyrics before being able to view them instead of just playing the song, and since the lyrics are stored in the MP3, its size increases, but it’s negligible. Installation instructions 1. Stop foobar2000 and copy the 2 DLLs to the components folder, then start foobar2000. Go to View -> Layout -> Enable layout editing mode, then right click where you want to show the lyrics and choose “Replace UI Element”, “Selection Information”, Text Display.
Right click on the lyrics screen and add the lyrics tag. Here’s the format I use:%title%$crlf() [%artist%$crlf()] [%album%[ \'('%date%\')']$crlf()] $crlf() $if2(%lyrics%,) 5. Turn off layout mode by going to the View menu and selecting “Enable layout editing mode” again. Right click on one or more MP3s and choose Legacy commands -> get from db.
