I believe this is just a glitch in the copier. You need to do a printer reset. I do believe this will get rid of all the internal information of the copier -addresses, network setting, etc.
The option of hiding Radmin Server tray icon is not available by default in Radmin 3 due to security reasons. The special \'No tray icon\' version of Radmin Server 3.5.2 is available for registered users. Unfortunately Radmin Server 3.0 beta 1 doesn\'t support hide tray icon option. Hopefully someone printed out the data lists after the intial install. Press the additional function key, 2 key, 8 key, additional function key. Press the left arrow key, below the display, until #CLEAR comes up. Press OK, then left arrow until ALL. Then wait and copier will cycle. Hopefully all is well then. You will ahve to intall all, settings as a new install.
Posted on Dec 09, 2010. I also had the \' DOWNLOAD STANDBY\' error message on my iR1023iF. None of the keys would work for me and I could not find any downloads that were not malware BUT I did discover by happenstance and much frustration the following: • Disconnect and switch off everything • Press and hold the \' Additional Function\' key • Connect power and switch on the printer • Press \' ON/OFF\' • You can now release the \' Additional Function\' key • Your printer should display the word \' INITIALIZING\' • Everything has been reset to factory defaults and is ready to go Hope this helps those who also do not have access to the maintenance software from Canon.
